Security

The goal of Texas Industrial Security is to supply all clients with the highest quality security officers available. We practice strict procedures in the selection of security personnel.  Each employee undergoes a thorough background investigation conducted by a licensed private investigator. Recruitment of our personnel is tailored to the specific post that the officer is to be assigned, thus assuring the best possible match of security officer to customer needs. All employees are required to sign a comprehensive employment contract that prohibits disclosure of confidential information, trade secrets, or internal operating procedures. We have a strict uniform policy, and periodic inspection by supervisors to assure maintenance of professional standards of appearance.

We believe that quality training is the key to professional service. To this end, every armed officer is put through the security training course which is certified by the Texas Private Security Board. The 30 hour training class includes: field note taking, report writing, first aid, familiarization with Texas laws governing private security, powers and authority of the private security officer, and firearms training. An instructor certified by the State of Texas conducts all training and each officer receives a diploma upon completion. Our on the job training is site specific and is tailored to each duty post.

Once the security contract has been awarded and the customer has determined their requirements, a Supervisor will develop a book of special post orders. The post orders set forth responsibilities in detail, serving as a reference for all security personnel, and as a training guide for newly assigned officers. Our clients have constant access to top supervisors through our 24 hour dispatch system. Prompt access to authority is available at any time. Supervisors are available to immediately respond to any serious incident that might occur on your property and serve as a backup to assist local authorities, your personnel, or our Security officers. Scheduled reporting to the dispatcher of all on-duty security officers is required, assuring that Texas Industrial Security officers are alert and attentive to post responsibility at all times.

Should the scope and nature of your security effort change, we can immediately marshal an entire corporate effort to assure a seamless transition. Texas Industrial Security is in complete compliance with all federal and state requirements regarding workers compensation, unemployment, and liability insurance. Employees are licensed under Texas license number C-111. The hourly rate plus sales tax represents the total cost to the customer for the guard service. The rate includes all charges generally associated with an employee, such as payroll costs and taxes, unemployment and Social Security, workers compensation and liability insurance, illness and vacation expenses, training, uniforms, direct supervision, equipment and other fringe benefits. Security and investigative operations are licensed and regulated by the Texas Private Security Board.
